Burn Fat At Home With Cardio Workouts

Losing weight with exercise videos is fairly simple. But choosing the right workout is critical. The important thing to think about when picking out your videos is to choose workouts that appeal to the types of workouts you like and consider your current fitness level.

Ask yourself a few questions. The first question to ask is “What is my current fitness level?” It’s tempting to try workouts that our not consistent with your current abilities – but it can also be dangerous. Most exercise injuries happen when we push too far past your current levels.

Next consider what types of home workouts are appealing to you. If you don’t like highly choreographed workouts, stay away from them. Set yourself up for success by choosing exercise videos that make you want to workout.. It’s not a guarantee you will always want to work out, but chances are if you like what you are doing, you will do it more often.

There are literally hundreds of exercise videos that will help you lose weight. But remember this: To lose weight you need to sweat! You need to increase your heart rate and maintain the elevated heart rate for at least 20 minutes. And if you can keep your heart rate up for 30 or 40 minutes, you will get even better results. You can raise your heart rate though walking, jogging, cycling, swimming or even rigorous house cleaning! Or to add variety, cardio kickboxing, step aerobics, low impact aerobics, or cardio dance are all great ways to lose weight using exercise videos.

Remember, consistency is more important than intensity. And while losing weight may be your primary reason for exercising, remember all the health benefits to exercise. You will have more energy, reduced stress and lowered blood pressure – just to name a few. So grab a home exercise video, turn on your DVD player and press play!
